Once again, the family gets treated like a victim. The family seemed like true battlers, salt of the earth people and again get kicked in the guts. No surprise, treating the perp like a victim is the western way.
Pistorious will find ways to sell his story when he gets out next year. He will make millions. Then, he will live a life of luxury while the battlers carry on trying to scratch out a living with the daily torment that their beautiful (both in and out) daughter's life was worth a year or so in prison.
How a bloke living in a gated security, who didn't nudge his girlfriend to see if she heard something, who didn't check if she was in bed, who didn't stop shooting after he heard a woman scream, who shot before even asking, whose gf "locked" the door to go to the bathroom at 3am got away with this just defies belief.,
