On another note, the Iress open is completely different to mine every day (or at least for the days I checked), and not just a little different, and not just the same as the previous close (SMH shows any Index adjustments, for instance), but really different....I mean- in some cases not even close. Any idea why that is ?? Perhaps they do a 'correct open', and manually remove the stupid 'staged' open, to show how price actually opened for each stock when compiled into the Index, each day (which would be a good thing).

not really sure jako but have discussed in the past why iress sometimes has a gap - I only noticed your chart showed and inside bar yesterday - dont know if its the combined ASX and CHI X aspect ? it does alter the stock charts not sure about the indexes .
