Who here thought that the Columbus well was a brand new well?

Why would the filings with COGCC
    http://cogcc.state.co.us/cogis/FacilityDetail.asp?facid=04306227&type=WELL

which is the Columbus well, be a sidetrack to well originally spud on 12-4-14 (US date). That might be the original JV well (Pathfinder C18-#8). Current status with COGCC is DG (not reported as completed).

Are they having issues? Maybe - passing environmental inspections for the past 6 months seems beyond them if you read the inspection reports - did you talk about that @junior101

And then there is Marco Polo
    http://cogcc.state.co.us/cogis/FacilityDetail.asp?facid=04306228&type=WELL

another sidetrack of a well spud 12/7/14 (the old Pathfinder C-18#4).  And again no completion records filed.

And what about Hudson#1 - Hudson who you ask - you know the former Pathfinder C18-#1. Don't recall that well --- might be the one that all went silent on. Maybe this helps

"The subject well was originally permitted for drilling to the Pierrre formation. A 13" conductor hole was drilled and cased with 9-5/8", 36# J-55 casing and cemented to surface. The surface hole was started, using an 8-3/4" hammer bit, however the driller DID NOT reach the target depth of 800' because the bit broke at 720' and fishing operations were unsuccessful. Emails exchanged between COGCC (Diana Burns, Dirk Sutphen & Larry Coler) and Aus-Tex Exploration (Juan Carlos Carratu & Ola Akrad); COGCC granted verbal approval to abandon the C-18 #1 and skid 10' to drill the replacement well. Plugging consisted of setting a rubber plug at 350' and cementing up to 100' with 20 sacks of cement and backfilling to surface."

Now I think any reasonable investor would want to know that kind of info, especially for a company with so few wells to report upon. I don't recall an announcement about such filings - I may of course be completely incorrect.

Would you consider that to be good business reporting for an E&P company?
Would you consider those filings as facts?
Did you ask questions on these facts when you have conversations with mgmt?

This is where fact get separated from fiction.
