I was a teenager during the Poseidon boom/bust and remember it well, as my brother was investing. So yes old fartdom has arrived.
The hand drawn chart served it purpose.

Something that my fancy chart doesn't show is what was the $US Spod price was in the quarter before the chart starts, Mar 2021.

All the prices on the chart are for 5.3% Spod. The only $US price I could find in the Mar 2021 PLS qtrly report was $US655 but for 6% Spod.

6% spod prices are inflated in comparison to the 5.3% price.

So it could indeed prove to be a false assumption that at $US 804 it is the final low point of this Spod price downcycle.

It's beginning to dawn on me that the multiple offtake agreements that PLS has signed, are in fact a curse to the Spod price. They are guaranteed supply at market price for Spod without competing in the market. I wonder how many of our offtake partners were competing for Spod at the BMX auctions where we achieved a price of over $US8,000 I marked in red on my chart.
