Interesting to me was Ken Brinsden's numerous references to supplying not only North America, but also Europe. I have been wondering where Europe--and especially Germany as a hub for the automobile sector-- will be getting their lithium supply, given extremely limited European supply, and projects like Rio's Jadar being halted through a not-in-my-backyard approach. I did read with interest that in Winsome Resources' most recent investor presentation,Winsome noted that they planned to use a combination of road-to-rail-to-ship from Adina, with that ship loading at the inland deep-sea port in the Saguenay region. The Saguenay port provides a direct link across the Atlantic Ocean to Europe. Would anyone know the location of any planned lithium processing facilities in Europe? Perhaps Patriot will do as Winsome seems to be hinting at doing, and establish off-take agreements with companies with factories in Europe.
