Every day here I read posts about the coming great crash, but it's a load of codswallop, goldbuggery is a cult, as looney as a documentary I saw onTV a while back about some naive religious cranks touring the Plain of Armegeddon in Israel where God will face off against the devil, the battle of good vs evil.
The banks won't implode, shares won't crash and neither will property, if you have a long-term view, pay off your mortgage, manage your debt and all will be well. Overexposed goldbugs awaiting the end of financial days have missed out on one of the biggest rallies in stockmarket history.
Yes there'll be the occasional crisis, but nothing that'll wipe you out if you're careful and diversified.
Here's another piece of sound advice, don't go buying large sums of gold and burying it in the garden.
