I wanted to test the capping theory out back in July. I have a longer term view of AVB but naturally I would prefer to see green instead of red when I log into my Commsec account.
At the time there was only ever a small amount available at the lowest offer, usually around 50,000 shares or so. At 7.3 I thought the buying was good considering the big boys paid 8. Sure enough the magic 50,000 on offer would replenished itself. Somehow even where I put in more than what was on offer my entire order would get filled instantly. The magic of the stock market!
Wonder if $30k would move the stock much now... At any rate I wish I had waited!
