The Victorian Liberals have comprehensively failed to offer an intelligent alternative to Labor. They are too busy with factional infighting, culture war garbage and promoting grotesquely incompetent players like Tim Smith to senior leadership roles. The Queensland LNP have a similar problem (though arguably not quite as bad), with a bunch of either incompetent or corrupt (or both) political hacks in SE Qld staunchly failing to present a plan as to how they would improve on the current Labor govt. If they go to the history books to show what great leaders they were, all they can present for the last 50+ years is Bjelke-Petersen and Newman. Textbook examples of corruption and incompetence.
