the NY DA says he can offer up his real estate assets as surety but Donny is trying desperately to find anyone who lend him the dosh. meantime he's telling his adoring fans that he as $500Mn in cash and more in equities...... but for some reason he can't use it and pay the bond.
now why is that?

I know my op reads as smarmy and gloating and I apologise for that as I mean no ill-will toward either Trump or his subscribers. but honestly there is a very real poetic justice in that he's found guilty of defrauding lenders and insurance companies to the tune of that sum. its legal justice too after all.
