Thinking from left field....he is tall, he can rebound , he is quick, he can mark , he can kick when NOT in front of goal , his handball and judgement in passing even under difficult situations is superb....for me he is a natural for fullback....
Butcher has a stigma of being a clutz forward ..take the forward out of the equation and you have ?...what I said above !!??
