On what basis can you state that prices "stayed fairly constant" ??
I and many others have been actively watching the price for years. It was cheaper to buy lithium batteries in oz 3 years ago. Low AUD doesn't help. Lithium is now comparable in cost to quality lead acid but that still doesn't encourage people to go off grid as battery storage is just one piece of the system.
