Reading a free book on Kindle written by an ex marine called the Perseid Collapse. It's fictional reality based on the aftermaths of an EMP. Because all electrical and communications have been knocked out the characters in play have to survive with only their skill set. This genre is not my usual purchase. Must say it's a page turner.
I'm up to Chapter 18 and taking a break and a bit of think about it all.
Reading this book has made me reflect on quite a few things. Discussion has been held with friends and family. In the book the main character talks about having 2 weeks worth of food ready in case of emergency, batteries, first aid kits, etc. I found myself wondering if something happened, what would we do.
