I got the same indication. It seems they are going to more towards the VTG customer focused model rather than their own Telstra stores.

I have a few friends that work in the telco community, One who works for a telstra store and another that works for a VTG run Telstra store. Its only anecdotal eveidence but the lady who works in the TLS store doesn't feel as though she has the same sort of job security as the other who works in a VTG run store.
