Promises of Manufacturing

Lets hope the Govt gets cracking on upskilling our nation with real technical nous, instead of handing out arts and humanities froth and bubble diplomas.

We need to get our manufacturing industries up and running IMO, because China seems to be heading for a cliff :- 30% workforce in quarantine, 30% of GDP realestate bubble unravelling, fuel cost skyrocketing due to Xi's mate Putin waging war, India tooling up to take market share.

Knowing Oz Govts, the public service will throw money at internal planning groups rather than anything concrete. So I suggest Albo setup an old skool style Enterprise Council comprising sensible people (not pointy heads, industry hacks and ex politicians) to advise ministers directly.

Seeing as we all but wiped out local industry when we sold the farm in the 90's/00's. it's great opportunity to clean sheet our future secondary sector.
