Society appears comfortable in the main to send our young soldiers offshore to eradicate (kill) threats to our way of life and the values we hold dear.
Society is reluctant to face with honesty that most of the immediate threats to our safety, wellbeing and the values we hold dear exist in our communities.
We need to eradicate the drug industry and purge society of all who feed off and are corrupted by this scourge.
Consider the drop in crime and the freeing up of medical resources and the useful, productive and meaningful life saved that would be the result.
As a consequence Australia should challenge itself as to what is required to achieve this utopia and not continue to shut itself off from reality and hope that it does not touch them or theirs.
It is only when touched that it appears emotional energy is generated.
Until then the silent majority remains with its head firmly in the sand the loud minority dictate the course of action allowed and by default this becomes the social conscience.
Fight the war at home.
