Just journalists from the center would be fine. Most of us want neither left nor right leaning journalists .
Nobody wants journalists to stop asking difficult questions but what we should expect is a polite way of doing it that shows respect for the interviewees position.
Several ABC journalists are rude and constantly interrupt , wag their finger , and talk over the top of people they are interviewing. Many of these journalists have close links to the Labor Party , and certainly dont put the same kind of heat on members of the Labor Party. Tony Jones is one of the worst. He consantly cuts off members of the Govt but lets opposition members present a full lengthy dialogue.
If I had any option I would not let my tax dollars go to supporting this morally corrupt organisation.
