I wonder if it is racist to fly our flag over Villers Bretonneux or Pozieres or Gallipoli , perhaps Paaechendale . Maybe when the 2nd AIF retook the airstrip at Kokoda , the first thing they did was hoist the Aussie flag , was that racist ? . A lot of young men died of wounds , disease , lost limbs , suffer nightmares still all in the defence of that flag and what it means . Tell a war widow that the Aussie flag is racist , tell any serving person in our defence forces . Wouldn't mind betting you get a fat lip . Nothing is more sacred in this country than our flag . It is covered in blood from thousands of young Aussies . Be buggered if i'm going to be accused of racism because i am proud of my flag
Go tell a yank they are racists for flying their flags , you better be a good runner or hope they are a poor shot
