Resources and energy are a sea of read atm. If this were panic driven by metal prices, then the volume would be higher.

I dont believe shorting can be done on this magnitude but I believe these sectors are being deliberately driven down by big players who really want to load up with resources and energy. These days, to do this, they only have to sell adr's on the US market. The other markets follow like lemmings. They might drive metals down tonight to keep the downward momentum going.
