I think there might be a fair backlash about the track. When i woke up this morning i was absolutely astounded that the track was rated dead. I to agree, that is a disgrace.
Therefore, in the future, if i am to buy a staying horse, a future cup horse, forget about horses that only handle the dry tracks. I would be filthy if i was an owner of one of the dry trackers today. The VRC have bowed to the pressure of the overseas contingent and to the freedmans. Mind you, i did have a little tear in my eye when Makbe Diva won and i was watching and cheering her all the way. That aside, when i purchase my next horse (if i do) and i am looking for something that can run distances, i will only buy a horse if it bred to handle the wet. Not a great message to send out to people.
I am sure we will hear more.
