Well, the sooks are really coming out of the woodwork up here since Newman called the election, which is well and truly due to be called. Fairfax Press is in overdrive with all of the anti Newman "commentators" having a field day with all of the leftist "opinion pieces". Brisbane Times is the new Labor campaign office.
Now we have "Greens" Senator Waters saying in Fairfax, that Newman called the vote in holiday time because he was "anti youth" and that he was trying to deprive the "youth" of their opportunity to be properly enrolled.
What a crock. Senator Waters obviously doesn't realise it can be done with a smart phone.
Moving on. We also had some trade union bloke standing outside Trades Hall, making the classic statement so far in 2015. This brain surgeon reckons that if the LNP is re-elected, Premier Newman will take that as an endorsement of his policies.
What the? Isn't that what elections are about? If you like the mob, you vote for them.
But, is the classic case of "dumb and dumber", the so called "journalists" milling around him at the press conference, failed to question him of that statement.
Looks like Newman has really caught Labor on the hop with this one. But, if Labor were not prepared for an election announcement at any time, they just prove their incompetence and how unfit they are for government.
