Good points, but note NZ brines are fair bit hotter, and you see steam vapour at their power stations, so presumably heat exchanger will keep it all below 100 degrees in Germany, and CO2 stays trapped. The Geo40 process looks promising, never know, it might be ready for European use if/when VUL is able to embark on its second stage.
