I hear where you are coming from but when there are so many renters wanting a home, well something has to be done to free up these houses and a land tax will put a downward pressure on houses prices, why should a person live in a house that they raise a family in and are now empty nester hoarding a house that a family could live in. If they sold their house, they wouldn't need a pension. I'm sick to death of whinging baby boomers. They have been given enough, so fair go.
