RBA chief notified.....who notified the Australian treasurer Joe Hockey. Who notified federal police and and all other relevant agencies.

Seems it may be a inside job... giving info out....

imo it could of been just covering immediately prior.

If an entity was tipped off, would've been a big one (i.e a large bank / fund). Not much follow through though so i suspect (complete guess) the large players saw the forecasts for what they were and took some off the table.
