Maybe they should get serious and lease a bigger island like Rhodes to the Germans as a Greek/German province where they could share some profits and get hundreds of thousands of rich Germans spending big on beer, food and entertainment.
At the moment Turkey is outcompeting Greece for tourism so a region with a German flavour would get them plenty of hard cash and make up for the damage the Germans caused during WW2 .
