hot on the heels of making his first ever stock, from cow bones, watso has now made his first ever stock from chicken bones.
watso had snapped up 2 half priced cooked chooks - then deboned them, and from the bones made a chicken stock. it must be stock, because it has set like jelly.
watso is just tossing some ideas around in his head, as to what to do with the stock - well, he only has tomatoes, butternut pumpkin, onions to use - and was thinking about adding back the chicken.
or maybe just something simple - like chicken noodle soup. chicken stock, noodles and add back the chicken.
mmm - but watso really wants to use what he has in the fridge - ie the tomatoes, and butternut pumkin......mmm was thinking about cooking them in the microwave, then adding that to the stock, with the chicken.
come to think of it, but two half priced cooked chickens, then use the bones for extra stock, is pretty good value
