I was warned by a broker once to get out of the reit stock.
The reason and explanation which i did not understand clearly was due to rate interest.
he said for 1% rate increase, there is estimate around 10% drop in reit sp.
i did not expect it to get this bad.
I hold cos npv is higher than the current sp.
it must be cos gearing high and US fed expect to increase rate in Nov and keep rate higher for longer.
Also cpi out in US and was higher than expected.
3.7 vs est 3.6
this is due to higher energy price.
No rate cut....and US fed still on 2% inflation.
