Average coal price- 150-180 USD, 200-240AUD ( assuming lag is catching up)
Less costs- $80 p/t
= $120-$160 × 10mt circa -$1.2- $1.6 bil profit
-$700 mil debt- fully retired
- tax ( worry about that next year)
1 bil shares on issue, .30 cent divy
= good times
As you can see I am rounding very roughly and hoping that this is the sort of money we are making. If we aren't making it yet it will come soon enough, expecting the coal price to remain elevated and Aud suppressed.
