When that happens, the game changes completely, and the Anglo-American cartel will have to clean up its act to compete with the RMB. I personally doubt that they will be able to, because of the U.S. National debt and failure to kickstart the Western economies.
China is running down its massive US bonds investments in a controlled way to preserve value, while channelling more investment into the Euro Zone, which is now its largest trading partner, and all the while hoovering up gold from wherever it can. They have the ROW guessing about the rate it is acquiring gold, but when they take the politically and economically strategic decision to announce that they are the world's largest gold holder, it's going to be interesting times.
