Given the current controversey on the Bali 2 impending
capital punishment, it would be good to hear from religious ideologues
and theologians' (Christian, Muslim, Jewish etc) views on capital
punishment generally and the Bali case specifically.
While our Australian Parliament last week unanimously voted
in favour of clemency for these Bali 2, hundreds of posters on
these boards seem to approve of capital punish which makes
us a divided nation on this issue.
Religious/philosophical views on this subject would be interesting.
