    Paul did not differentiate himself as a sinner from the congregation

    3 We too all previously lived among them in our fleshly desires, carrying out the inclinations of our flesh and thoughts, and we were by nature children under wrath as the others were also


    Paul before his conversion as Saul hunted down Christians in the first century for their blasphemous worship of Jesus as God. He had a discharge to bind Christians up.

    He approved the murder of Christians and was at the stoning of Stephen the first martyr, no wonder he made the following statement.

    For I am the least of the apostles, and not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.


    Paul had his cross to shoulder like we all do in our own way.
