Yeah Karl ,look ,this might sound arrogant ,it's not meant that way at all ,but in playing stocks you've either got it or you haven't . I've explained the principles of that to do to many intelligent people over the years and when it comes to doing it they often freeze on the spot . Moreover there's no amateur I've ever seen that doesn't panic out at the lows. ,or oftentimes buy at the highs.
If you've tried everything at it hasn't worked ,just play the bigger stocks ,pocket the divis and don't stress .Someone of your obvious intelligence can still make nice money that way.
The market in a lot of the smaller stocks is rigged and if you don't have the genuine inside running you're a better than even money chance of being on the wrong end of it.
That's the conclusion that I've come to after a lifetime playing stocks
