Thanks for pointing out CYP. Good to keep an eye out on what's out there. I have heard of PPS being used in combination with some stem cell treatment in a few patients...there is certainly some evidence of PPS's action on the Mesenchymal cells , increasing their proliferation and assisting their differentiation.

Also agree with you on the last line, so many Docs are simply guided by what appears on their screens and that too only if they really are up to date and actively looking for the latest approved medicines. Many will be guided by their patients asking one day about Zilosul as they have heard stories about it or have seen others garner a positive result.

Yes timing is important, sooner the better - hopefully we will get some good positive news on TGA determination, might still be a good one or two months away?

Sorry I should have clarified. Vericel uses autologous Chondrocyte stem cells - they can literally only become cartilage stem cells. I have had Tenocyte stem cells (a decade ago) in a poorly surgically repaired tendon from the same Aussie company that developed the stem cell aspect of the MACI technology in knee OA - I will refrain from cross promoting stocks (but another Australian innovative company going unnoticed).

I actually believe that a far more more fit for purpose. Mesenchymals are too often a one size fits all remedy. Handy for PAR investors to get this, the same virtue of Mesenchymal stem cells flexible (multipotent stem cells that can become differnt stem cell types, including bone, cartilage cells, tendon and muscle and fat cells) arguably make them less efficient in efficacy and method of action. Logicially would you want 10,000,000 cartilage stem cells in your OA afflicted knee, or 10,000,000 adipose stem cells, some of which may become cartilage cells?

The future competition for me obviously comes more from chondrocyte cells, which literally can't become anything else. Hence I had Tenocyte stem cells for my bicep tendon, whereas a shoulder labrum injury was a cartilage/tendon mix and I (and my Specialist) felt Mesenchymals the right choice there.

I am a two time, well researched, stem cell receipient and advocate, but still (recntly) invested in PAR again. Speaks volumes.
