There's a lot to like from Waffleheads post above, but I ask you to give consideration to other spiritual meanings to eating, beholding and handling.
Why didn't the apostles actually eat Jesus's flesh as He asked them in John 6:53?
Why did Paul "behold" Jesus as a light, and not as His physical appearance?
What does it mean to walk with God by your side, allowing Him to hold you in His embrace and you feel His touch at every moment?
