If I'm reading you right, in that we're on the same page, then that doesn't put the one on the cross next to Jesus, literally in paradise in some form. By my understanding of the Christian NT, which includes Jesus's statement to the thief on the cross, it does put the spirit or soul of the thief on the cross in paradise. This fits perfectly with the Christian NT narrative that we receive redemption and salvation. --- You seem to dispute the survival of the soul or spirit after death. What do you believe happens to people after death?
