Well discharging a firearm without actually killing anyone in Singapore is hardly a crime in my books.
As the percentage of gay people throughout the world is about 6% or 700 million and as the number of people executed annually world wide excluding China for all crimes is about 800 or about 1 person in 10,000,000 then the chances of a gay person being executed for anything are very small.
While Iran for example has the death penalty for sodomy according to Iranian authorities this is only administered where there is also rape, murder or drug trafficking.
It is difficult to get accurate information on Iran's execution rate but the most reliable source, Amnesty International, puts the numbers of people executed for committing combined crimes of sodomy and other crimes also is about 2 per year out of about 300 executions in total every year.
As there are about 4.6 million gay people in Iran with a population of 77 million then even if we are to accept that people can be executed in Iran simply for being gay the risk is 1 chance in 2,000,000.
