Just back to fundy's (and xddzx's) shining Arabic example of Iran - executions there in the last 5 weeks total something like 120+ (these are the ones we know about). There are multiple sources corroborating the list below - here is one:

Interesting when one looks at the reason for the majority of these executions, drug trafficking and rape dominate, but when one checks into individual cases, we find other info such as "political" crimes, apostasy etc. Makes one wonder that if Iran is falsely listing reasons for all these Executions, how we can trust them in so many other ways...the old forked tongue.

The sources you quote are Israeli operated propaganda sites.

Credible sources such as Amnesty International are the only credible sources of information on execution rates around the world.

These provide a rate of about 4.6 executions per 100,000 people which is much less than our enlightened democratic neighbour Singapore at 14.3 executions per 100,000 and of course much less than our much loved Chinese neighbour and trading partner where executions run in to the thousands.

In other Muslim countries the execution rate is miniscule. In the largest Muslim country, Indonesia, of 250 million people there were only 25 executions between 1999 and 2014 or a rate of 0.0007 executions per 100,000 people per year.
