if your customers are evenly spread in revenue and your lose 5 per cent then it's a nice read through for revenue churn or retention
revenue retention
if you have sone customers that are bigger and you lose one then because you are measuring revenue churn your number looks worse and therefore retention
bth use a harsh definition of churn you can read about it in the prospectus and it was audited by PwC from memory
some companies report net retention which meshes together new customers added and those that have left so you don't know real retention
