I personally would not buy on the morning of a much anticipated announcement after a trading halt. It all depends on your time frame and strategy of course but if you are looking to take a big position on AJM then I would build that over a few weeks with multiple trades.
That approach smoothes out the retraces etc but if it goes big and stays big then you miss out....Another possible option is to wait till late Friday afternoon when the day traders and others will sell off for their weekend profits and there might be a bit of a retrace.
anyway good luck on timing your entry - if you are long term investor then you could just buy at market and then it's all done!
