Just a bit more on this right to try legislation, it's not all "beer and skittles"
for the smaller biotechs, particularly for those funded by venture capital...
Just for arguments sake, lets just say we had a company funded for a 100
patient cohort.....They'll engage a medicine production company to produce
their requirements for the length of their trial and no more......
All's good up to now, everything's sailing along smoothly, then data from trial
comes out and it's exceptional......Just say, all of a sudden you get 500 people
extra that want access to this drug under "right to try legislation".....
How can the company fund it?, has the production facility the capability
to expand production at such short notice.....Going from approval to production
is not a simple exercise.....Off course the market is likely to be impressed though..
