Confronting ideas of a nature that drives a wedge between cultures is necessary if we are to better understand one another. Therefore we as a nation can only grow as a democratic multi-cultural society when, open discussion on ideas that represent differing views are greeted with an opportunity for new understanding. Spewing people with vile hatred is not the answer if we are to engage with them to find a solution. Upon reflection I/we should take a walk in other peoples shoes if we are to win their hearts, their minds and ultimately their trust.
So in saying that, I have come realise that my original post served no purpose and only further pushed negativity towards Muslim people. IMO that is definitely non Australian. Because to be truly Australian we can't be a selective, we need to be inclusive to sow the seeds of a better future.
