I think I am more frustrated and disappointed, than embarassed, with respect to the matter you refer to but - hey - that word can suffice as good as any! One has to keep an open mind about one's punts/investments down here in the smelly armpit end of the market - and be prepared for them to go pear-shaped at any time.
Take some profits when available, cover one's capital outlays and so forth. I was wrong, and it has certainly been an un-product(ora)ive punt/re-investment of some of my previous profits ...but that's life. Its all just a hobby down here like HH says - not for serious money - unless one is an absolute fool and invests more than they can afford to lose.
For some, serious money, can be $10,000 for others...$150,000 will not be serious money.
One thing I am certain of - you have never struck me as a fool.
