Albo might not be well spoken but Australia has a history of that. Howard wasn't either. Or Hawke. USA usually favour carisma - good looks and communication. Maybe with exception of Bush who is a dynasty and still has power and aura.
Albo can play the likeable larrikin type that does well in Australia. And he is clean slate relatively speaking. Both parties will have baggage going into next election and both need minimum of token restructure. Like people want Swan gone. Or Sorten gone. Or Credlin. Just something to dump on. Then we have another 4years and cycle repeats.
