Iraq was a mistake, Libya was a mistake, and now Syria is a mistake.....and in time, if anti-immigration dissent is repressed in Australia, maybe we will become a mistake..our PC brigade will make sure of it.

Well GZ, what that is telling me is that "we" want and expect a say in how "they" run their lives.

So is that fair? (no answer expected because I think most of us agree that if we don't have a say, they will be even more of a mess).

So if that is the case, why should we not just go the whole hog? The half hog with a brutal dictator (existing by minority control) seems to just end up festering into an abcess and unless all the people are of one passive following kind (e.g. North Korea), in this 21st Century, it ain't going to work the way it once might have. At least the whole hog puts us in charge and you've already indicated that we need to have a say in their lives. The plebs clearly favour the Western way - look at how much they love it here in Australia and how so many are clammering to get away from the hell hole that is the Middle East.
