It seems fair to say that relations between Russia and the US are returning back towards the Cold War era .
Considering Russia has reportedly increased it's military capacity 3 fold since 2000 and are about to revisit the wording of the military agreement with NATO , it is probably a good time for all NATO nations to do the same and NATO itself to be given a good shakeup from within to make it more relevant to the new world status quo in the 21st century.
Many things have changed in the 65 years since the original treaty was signed and each country continues to try to put pressure on others while seeing the world only from their own perspective.
We (the general public of all nations) hope that common sense will prevail at ALL levels !
