Why would Russia even need a bunch of countries with little economic value when it has BRICS?? Which will eventually become a stranglehold for the west. Biggest threat to the West, mark my words.
Russia simply doesnt want missile bases and militarization near it's borders from foreign aggressors, or western backed Neo Nazi's slaying Russians living in predominantly Russian regions of Ukraine - Fair enough. Those foreign aggressors have had long established, spoken and recorded ambitions in Europe, particularly around Energy supply. They get added benefits and a GDP boost when war is added to the mix, Also likely none of those companies will pay any tax with all the loopholes they are afforded.
Oooh BTW speaking of Nazi's - Did you enjoy when our glorious western leaders celebrated and gave standing ovations to an actual real life Nazi in Canada?? Zelensky, knowing the guy was a Nazi was still ramping up the applause... Hasnt had a lot of coverage understandably...
