If NATO gets into a hot war with Russia that would by association include the US no? Anyway no way NATO starts a war with Russia without US forces involved so the suggestion is dumb.
The US currently can't even stop the Houthi's from closing down the red sea (tcurrently destroying the Egyptian economy which is heading to major unrest) and you are suggesting they open multiple new battlefronts.
Again the US are in an extremely tight spot with a bumbling incoherent old man as a president.
