Vladimir Putin’s right-hand man – who has know him for more than 50 years – has said that Nato’s biggest exercise since the end of the Cold War is a threat to Russia. Nikolai Patrushev, secretary of the Security Council, argued that alliance members are working out a scenario of armed confrontation against his country.
As a former KGB officer, he has known the Russian president since the 1970s when the two worked together in the Soviet security service. His remarks offer an insight into the thinking at the very top of the Kremlin’s elite. Patrushev said the ongoing drills called ‘Resilient Defender 2024,’ will increase any geopolitical tensions.
There are plans to further expand NATO’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region and the Arctic,’ he said at a meeting on national security issues in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. ‘In 2024, expenditures for military purposes envisaged by Nato countries continue to grow, which once again emphasizes the growing aggressive nature of this alliance.’ Patrushev added: ‘The destructive role of the US in recent history is obvious. No other country has unleashed so many wars and military conflicts, or provoked so many destructive economic crises.
Nikolai Patrushev should tell PUTIN he should have not stirred the NATO hornet's nest.
YES, NATO is just getting started with their responses Mr Patrushev.
And one-day reparations will by RUSSIA will be enormous, one POOTIN the butcher has been put away. MICROSOFT START source.
