it certainly WAS unprovoked ......it is simply a war of conquest by russia ......putin said he wanted this years back ......to get back the things (he beliueved) belonged to russia "
the only thing the west expects* of russia is for them to stay within their own bordewrs and leave other countries to make their OWN decisions
* prior to the invasion there was huge western trade with russia - was russia overstepped a mark , not ther west
