It takes no account of the destruction of human and physical capital, diversion of labour, nor recognises the opportunity cost in not directing capital to productive endeavours along with a various other effects yet to be discovered. Of course 'GDP' figures and so called 'growth' numbers might look impressive short term when you convert large parts of your economy and endeavour to a War footing. What's going to happen when the War is over ? Or is the lunatic in the Kremlin Asylum planning perpetual War ?
