I've always believed a case could be made for Crimea remaining russian the rest of Ukraine ....Nyet ! Ukraine remaining neutral - maybe . Removal of an elected government with more legitimacy than putin himself - Nyet ! Demilitarisation of Ukraine such that they are at the mercy and control of russia - Nyet , Nyet ,Nyet !
this attempt at conquest and control cannot be allowed or it will be repeated .....that's why Europe have supported Ukraine so strongly
putin embraces the reality that Europe and NATO are serious about stopping this and makes some realistic proposals instead of unrealistic demands or this war drags on - russia really are moving only at a snails pace and that will stop soon I think .....hopefully be reversed , but at least stopped
